Having moderate success at the beginning of the year is one thing. Having success when games are tighter, faster, and more physical is completely another.

Schenn played well for us when he was up, let him build on that next year. Inserting him in the lineup and expecting him to produce at a time when games are at peak intensity is unfair to him, and the odds of him having any type of impact is minimal at best.

Doughty spoiled us with his success at such a young age, lets not lose sight of the fact that such success is rare. It's so hard to be patient because we sucked for so long and with the painful memories of the LAPD line, but a panic move like this isn't the answer. The hardest thing to do is to be patient, unfortunately it's the right thing to do here.
