naw. not really. i agree, it all depends on if they can stay healthy throughout the entire lineup.

the pitching lacks big names, but i like all 5 of the starting arms. and i like the pen alot.

if they can stay healthy, they can compete. if they can compete and stay close until johan returns, assuming he does, who knows.

their lineup is actually pretty good. a bay, pagan and beltran outfield isnt too shabby. bay, pagan and a healthy beltran should play some excellent defense and snag alot of balls.

im always optimistic in spring, but his year without the bums and especially without gangster jerry, the guys seem genuinely excited for the season.

call me a homer, but i think they can compete. again, assuming health.
