... Nah, the Kings are needing to find other ways to generate offense, and are going to be putting themselves at risk for counter-attacks more than they did before. That's what Doughty was doing, after all; he's trying to create, pick up the slack for Kopitar. He's gonna get burned at times doing that. The penalty to Clifford - that's just frustration. I don't blame Kyle; he's just a kid. I was thrilled to see him get a goal today.
The Kings worked hard, but it just didn't happen for them. Just have to look to the next one.
