It sounds like a couple of you guys are dismissing all European prospects. Yes, most of them can't handle the transition, but how are you supposed to know unless you bring them over? Personally, I think a year split between Binghamton and Ottawa's 4th line is better for development than another year in the SEL. Take Roman Wick - it's hard to argue that the year in Binghamton was bad for his future in the NHL. He made the adjustment, and is almost certainly a better prospect than if he had spent another year in Europe.
