If they want someone who might be able to play next year, probably Couturier, but if this is a true rebuild of a few years, I'd prefer Strome. As for Huberdeau, I must confess I only saw him play once, and who knows? I was checking around to see how others have him rated, and it was interesting. Here is how various people/orgs have these guys rated.

The Hockey Writers, as of March 2011
1 NUGENT-HOPKINS, RYAN RED DEER WHL 6' 0.5" 170 C
2 LARSSON, ADAM SKELLEFTEA SWEDEN 6' 3" 200 D
3 COUTURIER, SEAN DRUMMONDVILLE QMJHL 6' 4" 195 C
4 STROME, RYAN NIAGARA OHL 6' 0.25" 183 C
5 LANDESKOG, GABRIEL KITCHENER OHL 6' 0.5" 207 LW
6 MURPHY, RYAN KITCHENER OHL 5' 10.5" 176 D
7 HUBERDEAU, JONATHAN SAINT JOHNQMJHL 6' 1.25" 168 C

Bob McKensie, as of Jan 2011
1 LARSSON, ADAM
2 NUGENT-HOPKINS, RYAN
3 LANDESKOG, GABRIEL
4 COUTURIER, SEAN
5 HAMILTON. DOUGIE
6 STROME, RYAN
7 MURPHY, RYAN
8 SAAD, BRANDON
9 HUBERDEAU, JONATHAN

Central Scouting, as of Nov 2010 (I think)
North American only
1 LANDESKOG, GABRIEL
2 COUTURIER, SEAN
3 NUGENT-HOPKINS, RYAN
4 HUBERDEAU, JONATHAN
..............................
19 STROME, RYAN

I don't know if Strome's stock has risen so much over the year, or if Central Scouting was just out to lunch
