In Minnesota, Lemaire has stated that he thinks it harms a player's development to send him back to the juniors at some point. That's why they're keeping Burns with the team. Lemaire said he will insert Burns in the lineup against teams he can have success, and bring him in like he did with PM Bouchard last year.

I wish we could do the same with our top prospects like Higgins.
