Lang to Detroit, works well for the Capitals. W/ the contract though, the Wings may not be overly helpful.

I could see Lang traded for a good prospect, including Hudler or Kronwall w/ some low talent D, Wooley or Dandy. I don't see Detroit having to give up much to get Lang because of the market for 2nd/3rd line centers at $5 mill per year.

Then again, I am not a fan of Lang, who IMO has benefitted from playing w/ Jagr.

How about this: (Proposal)

Detroit Receives: Lang and $2 mill.

Washington: Hudler and Dandy or Kronwall and Williams

Detroit may be giving up too much, but I quess this depends on if you are a Wings fan or Caps fan and if you like Lang.
