Why is it better? He's playing against 16-19 year olds.... I'd say having a set of wheels would help your game more at that age group than NCAA where most players are almost fully physically developed and in the 18-23 age group. Grachev was dominant in the OHL with his size and speed... AHL with older, more physically developed competition, not so much. I'm way more impressed with Hagelin being a PPG player at the NCAA level than Sjostrom doing so at the WHL level...
