It does seem like that and his words are a bit disconcerting especially if a coach stresses team play over individual play. Obviously Leino is a bit of a loose canon. Talented players like Leino and Zherdev like to do things their own way and don't like to be stifled. All creative people are like that so there is a fine line in how you coach/teach people like this. You don't want to lose them. Lavy has a responsibility not to sour the guy but Leino also needs to temper his ways. It's not like he's earned the right to do it ALL his way like a Gretzky, Crosby etc. He may have the demeanor of a superstar as suggested by the article but he's not exactly there yet. Going to be interesting what he does in the playoffs. If he's a turnover machine and it costs us games..well he probably won't be resigned since him and Lavy are not exactly kindred spirits in their philosophies. One is more authoritarian/task master and the other more free wheeling...doesn't mix for too long.
