Short answer...why not? There aren't very many top-end talented Russians in this draft, so there isn't much point in this discussion.
Long answer, as long as the KHL provides an option that is equally, or almost as lucrative for them, it will always be a looked upon as a significant factor to not pick a Russian player. If they don't have Ovechkin-esque pedigree, a lot of teams will shy away. Heck, Malkin had to be smuggled away from his team just to get to the NHL. Not too many teams are going to want to do that for guys who probably aren't going to be top flight players.
That being said, there aren't too many guys from the list provided that have done anything in the NHL, so what's the point? Are they playing well in the KHL?
Besides, Russian players are old news. The new hotness are Americans and Swedes.
