I really like Julien. That's what I have to say. The way he has taught a flexible system to a mishmash of vets and rookies and the way they have responded is very impressive.
Against Toronto, we played a full-trap (1-2-2). Tonight, it seems that he knew that the Caps D is hurting even more than Toronto's and he went for a more aggressive forecheck (2-1-2 it seemed most of the time).
Our advance scouts are doing a good job and so is Julien and the players.
Higgins is so smart! Ryder is so hungry!
Hainsey still concerns me a bit with his lackadaisical play. Rivet and Breezy are still iffy with the turnovers. Komi didn't get much PT tonight either, which is disappointing.
