Also regarding the defenseman. Oduya would get traded first to create more cap room if required. Hainsey played really well last season and also has a modified no trade clause.

I would like Wolski in Atlanta but I don't think Dudley would bite. We already had a similar player in Nic Bergfors and he didn't work out. I don't think Dudley wants to get burned twice by trading for floater.

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression the Thrashers were cap floor team. Do you have any kind of rough estimate of how much ownership is usually willing to spend on salaries?
And yeah, I figured it'd be one of Oduya or Hainsey, but I thought Hainsey was under serious fire in Atlanta and was on the way out. Oduya makes just as much sense, though.
