If they are not willing to make that commitment, then they need to explore other options. I never had high hopes for this team this playoff year due to the goaltending, but did want Bob to get a taste for the playoffs... that went out the window real fast.
I agree with you wholeheartedly.
I always sorta figured this year would likely be lost to goaltending, but at least thought Bob would get valuable experience. Unfortunately, Lavi ruined that, so now the best possible outcome is that they just make a choice.
If Bob is our future, make him the #1 next year and invest confidence in him; I'd take Boosh in that, too, since he's a perfect backup. But I'd like some flexibility. If they don't think Bob is the guy, then go out and get me a legitimate starting goaltender and end this stupid game. Let Bob get 20-30 quality starts and learn without the pressure, and see how it goes.
