yes but there is a lot of valid criticism about the whole practice. I for one think it's crap but maybe I'm more old school. I had no problem when injuries were more out in the open and I don't recall any negative ramifications with the transparency. Kerr used to get his bionic shoulder smashed regardless...Howe would get checked with his bad back as well and worse at the time since the rules were't as favorable to D men like they are now.
