Short of a quick trip to Lourdes, Malhotra will not be back this season.

Asked if there was 'any chance' Malhotra could appear somewhere down the line, Bowness replied: “No, no, unless there is a complete miracle. No, no chance.”

“It was a thrill for all of us to see Manny on the ice and the guys really, really enjoyed having Manny on the ice with them,” Bowness said. “I had to give him heck right away because he went offside on one of our simple little warmup drills. But there is no change in Manny's status.”
