And Hammer loves playing with the Hawks; he just loves it more at 3.5M vs. 2M. Everyone would love to play for the Hawks, so he signs for whatever contract he wants and gets to play for the Hawks or Sharks at his demanded price. Or he could just sign for 2M less and stay with the Sharks for sure. What would you do? I hope Stan is all over this if he ever hits RFA.
