This really isn't going anywhere...
But I just want to say this...
Semenov, when on his game, is a legitimate top 3 defender on a lot of hockey clubs. When he is off his game, he is a detriment to his hockey club.
You are right, Semenov could have grown, and yadda yadda... but the fact of the matter is, over his past 4 seasons, he has gotten into little funks where he literally doesn't do anything. And based on the things I've read, and the little I have seen, he really does look like he is in one of those funks. It doesn't mean he is an OHL calibre player all the time, it means that it is something he needs to eliminate from his game to be counted on as a reliable defenseman on a regular basis.
