Looks like they will dig deeper. All of the leagues and FHR will be getting together to discuss some core issues. Normally, knowing the beuracracy I would say that it's just for show. But considering the people involved- I think there will be progress made. Fetisov, Medvedev, Efimov, Yurzinov Sr. all have very fresh and "right" ideas about how to change the system and develop. I think that at least partly they will talk about kids hockey.
I see this as the biggest push since the creation of KHL/MHL to do things the right way.
Fetisov also said that ex-players like Mogilny, Kamensky and Fedorov will join the helm in this plan- and that sounds very promising. The whole structure is in dire need for new 'blood'. I think these guys bring more honesty and desire to do things the right away and avoid corruption than the old FHR corrupted "members", and at least they can shift the power somewhat.
I am happy with where this is going.
