I've seen him play and he seems to be Chipchura/Engvist type of player. Not an exceptionally good skater but strong on the puck, strong along the boards, decent passer and responsible on defense. He seemed to have good hockey sense when I saw him and the coaching staff put him out in key situations.
In the WJC in Saskatoon he played against the US and Finland dominated that game despite that fact they lost. He was part of the domination but the US had strong goaltending. Lots of the US players from that team have been highly ranked as potential pros. I don't know what that says about the Finnish players... if anything.
