Here's what the lineup looks like going into next season:
Now, that lineup has a lot of holes to fill. Some of them will be filled with prospects from within the organization, and some will be filled with UFAs/trades. Here's what we can realistically expect:
Dubinsky re-signed - 5 years, $20MM. $3.5MM, $3.5MM, $4.0MM, $4.5MM, $4.5MM. $4MM cap hit. LNTC.
Callahan re-signed - 5 years, $20MM. $3MM, $4MM, $4MM, $4.5MM, $4.5MM. $4MM cap hit. NMC.
Anisimov re-signed - 2 years, $3.9MM. $1.7MM, $2.2MM. ~$1.95MM cap hit.
Sauer re-signed - 3 years, $4.7MM. $1.2MM, $1.5MM, $2MM. ~$1.5MM cap hit.
Boyle re-signed - 1 year, $1.5MM.
Fedotenko re-signed - 2 years, $2.5MM. $1.25MM cap hit. Modified NTC.
Buyout Wolski - $466k cap hit in '11-12, $666k cap hit in '12-13.
Re-sign Prospal - 1 year, $1.5MM. NTC, bonuses.
Maybe re-sign Gilroy - 1 year, $1MM.
So we'd have this:
Who do we fill the holes with, fellow HFers? I would say Richards, Hagelin, and Adrian Auicoin, but I can't use the CapGeek calculator to figure out how to add these players and determine the cap space, unfortunately. It's be a solid team, IMO.
