And if I'm remembering right--Winnipeg didn't lose the Jets to Phoenix because of lack of fan support. They lost it because of arena issues. Now that they have a new arena--with luxury boxes etal. and with the strengthened Canadian dollar and with a strong fan base they should have no problems for the forseeable future being able to support an NHL team.
Yeah, Winnipeg shouldn't have any issues for the foreseeable future, but as Rangerboy said, the ownership has to field the most competitive team possible and not cut corners.
