If he was a good top 6 player, how come we are so eager to get rid of him?

He's never put up more then 50 points in a season, his numbers have actually regressed a bit since his rookie year, and he contributes little else besides scoring. At his cap hit and the amount of teams he's been through, I bet we can't find a taker and he gets bought out.
