Bates was struggling in the pre-season and he is not as good as he was on the BBC line two years ago. He had a strong game? Good. I hope his play can improve to where it should be but still, it doesn't change the fact that this trade is certainly not extremly lopsided in the Habs' favour like KL said. He still has to prove me wrong.
If he doesn't, I'll chase him around the board and harass him until he acts like a man and admit he's wrong.
