if you are only 13, let nature take its course. I was chubby at 13 and by 15 i hit a growth spurt and started to even out.. by 17 i was 6' 195lbs just let it come naturally. I've always been told not to lift or anything extreme until you're about 16 due to the possible effects it could have on your development. Just be a teenager and let your body grow into itself. My only suggest may be a protein drink after working out, but besides that, i don't think you should be doing much more than just eating healthy as a 13 year old.
