I have a feeling that Scott Gomez was embaressed this past season and will be working his behind off this summer to be ready to go for the next season in Montreal.

Look at this:

Scott Gomez
2005-06 New Jersey Devils 82GP / 33G / 51A / 84 Points

Brian Gionta
2005-06 New Jersey Devils 82GP / 48G / 41A / 89 Points

Can these two become our Lecavalier - St.Louis???

Something tell's me that Scott Gomez has to bounce back, I honestly believe that he is our Kovalev and this teams success all depends on him, if he is able to put up points with Gionta I am not worried about Cammalleri - Plekanec, defense and the goaltending.

Discuss!
I think you need to wash the fruit before you eat it.
Hate to tell 'ya but we are stuck with Gomez and there is no way he is gonna put up the #'s he once did with NJ.

Let's face it, Sather must have had some REALLY good compromising photos to force Gainey to take Gomez and his grossly overpaid contract.

Gomez stands up at the end of our playoff run and says: "yeah I should have played better throughout the season and the playoffs" - YA THINK!?
