I find it troubling that the FPC gets awarded to an organization that has the track record that Kanata has had since the current owner took over. There has been a regular turnover of both coaches and players, they have yet to prove that there is a clear plan in place to build a contender. In the end I hope they do since it will be great for the league.

That being said I do believe that they have a great group in place to organize the event (people like Tony House and Bob Thompson) will do a great job with the logistics. If I was a decision maker then I would propose that if the team does not either finish in the top 4 during the regular season or qualify for the league semi-finals that the two league finalists get the spots and that the Stallions still host it, they just may not be playing in it.
