Don't be silly here. Crosby and OV are as big a star as you're going to get right now. That doesn't mean they're as good as Gretzky or Lemieux but that has absolutely nothing to do with what my point is.

Bottom line is that Quebec has stopped producing great players outside the goalie position. The only elite guy I can think of off the top of my head is Marty St. Louis. The days of Quebec producing the best in the game are long gone.
