I think he might be a good coach. He certainly seems well spoken and also seems to have the respect of his teammates.

The thing with less talented players becoming coaches is that they have to consciously work at every aspect of their game because little comes naturally to them. As a result they are often aware of the little things and have to pay attention to details. That can help them become good coaches.
