Yeah, Toews and Kane are averaging $1.2 million more a year than the Sedins, and with all due respect to our guys, the Sedins were established superstars when they re-upped. Part of the Chicago advantage ought to be that the quality of life, potential for endorsements, and title contention allow us to pay less than market value for key players, and yet here we are backing up the Brinks truck for Brent Seabrook while Detroit and Vancouver sign players for so much less.
