the guy you "might" be referring to is sam st. laurent. he was a goaltending consultant for hartford prior to allaire's arrival. i remember the rangers having him up one time during the last nhl season to help out dunham when he was struggling and when his injury wasn't so apparent. it was before a game vs. boston.

that ended up being one of his best games that season. so yes, count me as one who loves not just the addition of benoit allaire, but the whole coaching staff.
