I'm not saying that's huge, but he's already taller than Cally, Avery and Drury with room, as you say, to grow and fill out.
Comparing him to other draftees that makes him either bigger or roughly the same size as:
1st round:
Nugent-Hopkins 6'0" 171
Strome 6'0" 177
Murphy 5'11" 170
Baertschi 5'10" 181
Namestnikov 5'11" 171
Phillips 6'0" 175
2nd round:
Rattie 5'11" 165
Grimaldi 5'6" 160
Khokhlachev 5'10" 183
Granlund 5'11" 166
Nieto 5'11" 177
Ruutu 6'0" 171
Karlsson 6'0" 163
Kucherov 5'11" 171
Prince 5'10" 181
I'm not sure if he had some crazy growth spurt in the last few months like they say Fogarty did or if for some reason people have reason to believe that he's benefiting from significantly higher stat inflation than everyone else, but on the face of it, he's plenty big enough, especially for his stats on draft day. Hell, those were about my stats graduating HS and I wound up at 6'0" 195 (when in shape, anyway).
Very interesting pick. Love what the team did with this draft.

Yup...love the approach on the first four picks.
