I thought Alberts played very well last year, easily outplayed Ballard and Rome. He was horrible in 2009-10 but he settled in nicely last year. I've got no problem with an Alberts/Tanev 3rd pairing with Rome as #7.
Also, he's the #1 example why we can expect a bounceback year from Ballard. Alberts significantly improved over 09/10 in our system, so hopefully in the fall Ballard will do the same.
My perfect scenario is playing out so far. Next, just need to ditch Salo and Rome and sign Jovo..
