More importantly people don't seem to understand that these players leave those decisions (holding out/talking **** to the media) to their agents. It's not them calling the shots, they aren't the experts in negotiations and so they leave it to the people who are. None of that stuff should be held against the player, but if you want to anyway at least be consistent.
Captain like behavior? Remind me what Messier did again in '97. Is he any less a Captain for trying to maximize his earnings?

Callahan hasn't threatened anyone. What do you expect his agent to come out and say, by the way?

We were blown away from Sathers offer. It was 30% more than we imagined. Instead of easily asking for more $$$, we decided to sign the contract right then and there. That Slats.. He's a sharp one.
