That's fine. None of your or Smokey's statements disprove my point. Admittedly, Vandy is not a consistent men's basketball powerhouse. They are consistently horrible in football. However, their men's bball team is at least middle of the pack even in bad years. Occasionally they have a good run. The women's bball team is consistently an elite team. Almost all the revenue non-producing teams (soccer, track, etc.) are consistently good and occasionally excellent. I don't see Vandy having a dynasty in any sport in the near future. My point is that Vandy is competitive (not dominating) in most sports in most years. Just because the football team is historically pathetic, does not make the athletic dept. undeserving of being in the SEC.
