Gaborik is one year removed from an 86 point season. Assuming he's even a little healthier than he was this year, who's to say he won't do that again, considering he now has a #1 Center?
Richards is an addition. Of course he didn't count towards our 50+ club last year.
If Cally and Dubi played all 82 last year, they would have had 56 and 58 points, respectively. They can't add a few more (especially if they get some time on the PP and with Gabby/Richards)?
Stepan and Anisimov are two extremely young players with tons of upside. To not expect a 5 point increase from each is ridiculous.
The Hurricanes had 5 50+, 2 60+ and 1 70+ last year, and a top 10 goaltender, and they didn't make the playoffs. Those point totals we're expecting aren't astronomical.
