That said, he's a nice guy and well-liked by his teammates, so that counts for something.
He's an adequate injury replacement, but I'd expect him to spend most of the year in Springfield.
I often here this said about guys that don't quite stack up on the ice, and I don't really think its a bonus to be honest. Having friends on the ice with you can be as much of a detriment as a benefit. When that guy is screwing up, and he needs to hear it from a teammate, you don't want to have something friendship get in the way.
