Latendresse's interview

From this interview, I can tell you he looks much better than last year for sure.

First, he says he is 100% ready for the training camp. Then he says he had a hard recovery. He couldn't walk 6 months ago, in fact he started from the scratch. The reporter also asked if he wanted to comment about what Leipold said this week. Gui said it's ok if people has opinion about what happened in last year's camp and he doesn't care since it's in the past. Now he's concentrating for the future. He knows the Wild have high hopes for him. With the new players and if he actually comes back 100%, Gui thinks the Wild might be a real threat now.

As for the trades, he says it's incredible. He sent a text message to Havlat for wishing him good luck with the Sharks. Of course, Gui loved playing with Havlat but he says for the team's needs, the Wild really needed true goal scorers. The Wild had a lot of playmakers like Koivu, Bouchard and Havlat but now the Wild add some finesse touches with Heatley and Seto.

Finally, he doesn't know Yeo much but both had some conversations and Gui said he knows where he's going.
