But for a guy like Raycroft, assuming last season wasn't just a fluke, he's worth alot more than the million or so that's being bantered about. He's done his time for the organization, spending 3 years in the AHL before his breakout performance in 2003-04, and IMO he's worth decent money. Perhaps a one year contract might make the most sense, in order for him to show he's a solid starting goalie, but if so, that should be at least at 1.5 million or so per season. Or perhaps a deal with team options given certain performances, eg 30+ wins, 0.910+ save percentage, >2.5 GAA, etc etc.

I'm sure the Sens would be happy to have Raycroft when he becomes a UFA which appears to be in 2008. And I'm sure there are lots of teams who would love to have Razor as their goalie, so the Bruins should really lock him down, so he doesn't get away, like Berard did in 2003.
