Obviously, it's only 15 games to go off of but Enroth was clearly able to bring some confidence to the backup position, both for Ruff, the players and fans - which, after a 3 year abyss in that position, counts for something. I'm sure the Sabres want the maximum flexibility of a two-way deal that reduces the salary if he plays in the AHL again but, seriously, would paying him $700K to play in Rochester be such a big deal for Pegula? Based on other transactions he's OKed, I don't think so.

Give Enroth the one-way deal and keep the cap hit modest and it would seem everyone's happy.
