I don't think anyone is infatuated with Weise. It's not as if someone wants him rated in the top 10, but when we are talking about prospects ranked around where our mud-round picks are, there is no reason he should not be getting votes.
He was drafted about the same as St. Croix and earlier than McColgan. Those two obviously did not improve since the draft, whereas Weise has show better than expected progress for a 4th round pick.
I am not saying he should necessarily go higher than them, but he should be in the same ballpark.
Also, Weise's stock went up since getting drafted in the 4th and Yogan's stock went down since he was drafted in the same round (due to his injuries).
Not sure how Yogan is so much higher thought of.
By the way, the person praising Weise the most is Gordie Clark. He sounds like a big fan. HF's Leslie also seems like a fan.
