Jagr because of who he is will want to play like a superstar. That is why he chose the Flyers over the Penguins and Red Wings. He will get more responsibilities on this team and much more icetime and powerplay time. I think he only took 3.5 million as opposed to 4.5 million that Selanne was making and will most likely make if he decides to play one more year or the 6 million Lidstrom signed for. Jagr took this money and is motivated to prove to everyone that doubted him that he can still play the game at a very high level.
People seem to think the Flyers have regressed. I don't think so. If anyone remembers in 2005-06, the Rangers were picked to finish dead last in the NHL and on opening day of training camp Jagr said that he would play like an MVP and help the Rangers make the playoffs. He did good on both promises.
I see Jagr doing something similar with the Flyers, but that's just me.
This team btw is better than the 2005-06 Rangers. They have a bonifide All-star defenseman and they have a good core of young offensive players. Their defensive core isn't too bad either.
I will say it again, I don't expect anything less than PPG and 90-100 isn't out of reach either.
As Czechmate25 mentioned, Jagr isn't coming back to the NHL to embarrass himself and score less than 50 Pts, he has only scored less than 70 twice, once as an 18 year old rookie with limited icetime and then the following season with 69 Pts because he only played 70 games (was still close to a PPG).
