the only difference having Rucinsky and Hlavac does is enables others (i.e., Kovalev) to play their natural positions. I do think in time, or at least in spurts, Rucinsky will come around. He put up OK numbers in St. Louis. Hlavac is streaky too, but hasn't even put up OK numbers in a couple seasons. He's been given a chance he didn't have the last couple years, you'd think he'd take advantage of it. Maybe he too needs time to come around.
