I actually like the fact that Linhart is playing in a mens league over the CHL. I could have seen him play this year in London, but they had to make room for 2 Euro players in this years CHL import draft. But playing in the Czech mens Senior league is a good place for him. Who knows what he can do in 3 years.

Here's his stats from the senior league.

HC VČE Hradec Králové a.s. 10 0 1 1 4 10

But he also plays some junior league games, but not that many.

J Pardubice 5 1 0 1 2 0

Being a +4 in 10 games is what sticks out. He hasn't played much in the junior league lately, so perhaps they are going to keep him up.

As for Lapierre, I have been listening to their games on the radio and Lapierre has done ok. He's been good at times in the faceoff circle, better then Urquhart in the games I've listened to. He's good on the PK as well, but I've noticed he takes some bad penalities. He took a dumb one while on the PP, in a close game that they lost. I can bet Vigneault had a talk with him about that.

Here's his stats,

#25 Maxim Lapierre 12 3 5 8 17 -1

He's been on the 3rd line, but a -1 has me somewhat concern when Lambert is a +9, but he doesn't have the wingers to support him defensively.
