I think he's enough of a threat to shoot, what he does lack, as you pointed out, is the accuracy to make the shot effective. Guys like Lidstrom, Keith, Rafalski, Enstrom, etc, all have the ability to put a half slapper on the tape of a guy in front of the net. They don't rely on the power of the shot, but the accuracy behind it.
Del Zotto is always going to be the set-up man, IMO.
