I remeber that was the year of their first cup and I was in bed for game 6 and when the Flyers scored my parents jumped up screaming and called me out so I could watch part of the game. I still had to go back to bed but I remember lying awake listening to the game on the TV. Great start to becoming a life long flyers fan.
Awesome story. Good to see someone else that's been through the decades with this team. I was alive for the cups, but only 1 and 2 years old so just missed it. All 5 finals I've watched we've lost 80', 85', 87', 97' 10'
