If you send him down, then we have $12.3 million left(prior to this Dubinsky deal):
Now lets estimate:
$12.3 - $4.2(Duby) - $4.4(Callahan) - $1.75(Erixon) - $.9(Eminger) = $1.05

I still would not mind buying out Wolski to give us some cap room.
As I said in the arbitration thread, I have no problem subtracting MZA - but then who plays 3rd line RW? Avery? With no one else to sub in if he goes off the rails/into a funk? While I realize this would make many fans happy, I personally think it's a bad idea (and I'm fairly certain Torts would agree).

Actually, it's not bad cap management.
Girardi, Gabby and Hank come up in 3 years.
Dubi and Staal come up in 4.
Depending on the term Cally signs for (ideally 5 years), you've got 'em pretty well spaced and you target all the guys with an additional RFA contract to come for 4+ year deals next time, which would take them out effectively 6 years from today.

And bear in mind that things will change from this year til next, never mind 2016.
