Any time you wait till the last moment, that is the definition of drama. He's not some middle management type where no one cares about what's happening. This is an NHL athlete working a multi-million dollar deal. You don't think he understands the possible reaction or backlash from the fans and/or media? I'd say think again.

It's not like this deal heavily favors the Rangers. No, it's a fair deal for both sides. And if this is what their offer has been, why drag it out? Hopefully someone will be able to fill us in on how it went down.
