I'm not suggesting Ciggarin is going the Jerry Jones way. I don't think he pulls Poile aside says "bring Craig Smith to Nashville and MIL be damned". I'm asking if his commitment to winning is more aggressive (bringing in two new executive level guys, signing Lombardi last year and Fisher this Spring) than Freeman. It seems a change in focus and attitude. And if Poile isn't able to accept the new approach, I won't be surprised if he's replaced. Encouraging Smith to turn pro seems more a sign of things changing than the status quo.
