The coffee is here to stay
I found having a coffee on the way to my games (wether it was Sunday AM beer league or later night games during the week) that I would suffer a huge crash maybe 1/2 way thru my games. I have stayed away from coffee since (although will have one after on the way home at times). Yes - I still can get to sleep after I get home.
Red Bull - I occassionaly will have a small sugar free can on the way to the rink. Does it help me - maybe, it sure doesn't hinder me.
I think once I get myself into a league again (hopefully soon - major hockey withdrawal going on
), I might stick to a gatorade on the way to the rink, or just water.
