Using lacrosse gloves for floor hockey?
Hi everyone, I play a ton of hockey, but I never got into it until I was like 18. I play floor and roller hockey 3-4 times a week in Buffalo. I recently got invited to join The Buffalo Fusion, Buffalo's premiere floor and roller hockey travel team. I'm going to be on the floor C team.
Anyways, Ive heard of floor hockey players using lacrosse gloves instead of hockey gloves because they are lighter and more flexible. Since I'm only using a ball, not a hard puck, and hitting is considerably toned down compared to ice hockey, would you say that lacrosse gloves offer enough protection? Has anyone ever heard of players doing this?
I played Denny Schlegal once in floor hockey, and he used lacrosse gloves, and he is considered one of the best DekHockey players in the world. any information would be appreciated!
